Excellent location & wonderful service. The interior design is so nice. I loved it. The chief is so creative when it comes to dishes. I'm very impressed. They have a live band music sometimes. I was lucky to attend one of them. Flor de Sale is recommended when you visit Bologna. A very special thanks to both, Mr. Francisco and Mr. Stephan, who took care of me in both my visits. Very elegant spot to come for a cocktail or date night. They offer a good selection of cocktails, some with in-house mixes that looked very interesting. Prices are slightly higher but the quality of drinks serve are good. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Would recommend to come here for a drink either before or after dinner..
First of all, slow good!!! Second - absolutely perfect food. Ask them to pair wine, and you will be absolutely happy!!! It's really worth trying if you admire delicious food.
Wonderful dinner sitting at the bar. Huge shout out to Samuel, the bartender, for making us feel so welcome and taking time to explain all the special things the restaurant does. First, make sure you try the cask-aged Negroni. Was fantastic! Ask the staff for input on a drink you might like if you're a cocktail fan like us. Second, you can't go wrong with any of the food on the menu, but we really enjoyed our pasta. My pepper pasta was so cheesy! Make this a stop for dinner, and maybe a show if you sit at the bar and watch everyone work. So fun!
We had a really good service, explaining us their interpretations of cocktails. Highly recommend the Moscow Mule which had a nice cucumber gelly on top which I haven’t tried that way so far. Exceptional! The food is like the drinks. Definitely a must. Thank you !
I had a fantastic fish here - the best actually I’ve tried so far in a restaurant. The polenta it was served with was a little dry and plain, but the sauce helped to cover this up. The bread at the table was also out of space - perfect sourdough bread. My husband was also very happy about the cold spaghetti - I had a bite - and I confirm it was delicious too.
My husband & I dined at Fior di Sale Sat, May 13/23. We were fortunate to have a very early seating as the restaurant became quite busy after 7:15, and service was much slower as there were few wait staff. Appetizers: Roasted feta cheese (very generous portion) & Roasted sardines - both were tasty. Mains: Spaghetto & Grilled red tuna - delicious! Fortunately we had just enough room for dessert: Pannacotta (my husband so enjoyed this dessert) & Malden salt shortcrust pastry (more red fruit sauce would have made this perfect!). A wonderful meal.
